I met Megan through the Photographic Technology diploma we were taking at NAIT, which we both graduated from in 2015. She is so inspiring to me! Her kindness just exudes from her, which is one of the first things I noticed when I first met her. I’m so excited for her, and for Adam and Megan’s wedding this year! It’s going to be beautiful.
For their engagement session we met up in Canmore at the beginning of September 2019. We started the session during golden hour, my favorite hour to photograph! We got the most beautiful lighting at Quarry Lake Park. Afterwards we caught the last light of the evening at the Old Engine Bridge. Their dogs also joined in for a few photos, and they are the sweetest! Have you heard of a double doodle? Because they are a thing, and now I want one!!!
Also, in the middle of their session, (in this first photo) a seagull was hanging out by me while I had them dance and spin around, and the way the seagull flew into the photo was so awesome, and made for an awesome shot. I loved this session!! I hope you like it as well.
