My 24th birthday was on April 13th, and I set out on a mission of treating myself to some freebies all over town. There’s so much information out there, so I thought I’d make a blog post about it. All of these places offer these things for free during your birthday or birthday month. Why not take advantage? Here is a list of places I found to have birthday freebies in Edmonton, Alberta.

Tip: Make sure you sign up for things at LEAST a week before your birthday to ensure you are eligible for those freebies!

Marble Slab – A free birthday surprise, and I later found out you still have to spend money to get it, so kind of a freebie but not really. You have to sign up for “Marble Mail” 48 hours before your birthday.   http://www.marbleslab.ca/marble-mail

Starbucks – if you don’t have a Starbucks account, you should! It’s really easy to register, and they’ll send you a Starbucks card that you can use every time you go to Starbucks. Booster Juice – Free Birthday Smoothie. You must be signed up at least a week before your birthday. You can sign up at the bottom of their homepage https://boosterjuice.com/

Menchies – $5 coupon to menchies for your birthday. Must be used 15 days before or 15 days after your birthday. You can sign up at any time and still get the deal https://registrationinfo.net/menchies/register

Montanas – Free Dessert. By signing up for their “Grill Lovers Club” you’ll get a free Antojitos or spinach dip (uhum yes!) and a free dessert on your birthday. Here’s where you can sign up: https://www.montanas.ca/grill-lovers-club/

Denny’s – Free Grand Slam breakfast (egg, bacon, sausage, and pancake). Yep, I ate it too fast before I took a picture, so this is what I took home after getting too full! Just need your ID to prove it’s your birthday.  https://www.dennys.ca/promotions/

7-Eleven – Free birthday slushie. Just stop in on your birthday with an ID

Olive Garden – Free appetiser or dessert. You need to join their e-club to receive the coupon. https://www.olivegarden.com/home

American Eagle – 15% off coupon. MEH

I also went to The Keg on my birthday and they gave me a free birthday cake dessert. Lots of restaurants will give a free dessert on your birthday, so definitely save room for that later!
