As a photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing countless beautiful moments for people I’ve just met, or for old friends, family, and classmates. So when Alyssa (who I went to NAIT with in 2013-2015) contacted me about their engagement, I was so excited!! What an honor it is to be chosen to document such a big life event (the beginning of their lives forever together!), and especially for another photographer too!
We planned to meet for their engagement session in Snow Valley here in Edmonton (another one of my favorite spots!). It has so many great little areas and paths for backdrops, a bridge, and always gorgeous lighting especially when it’s really directional evening gold hour light.
It is truly an honor beyond words to be entrusted with capturing their love and to eventually photograph their wedding. Both Seth and Alyssa braved the cold with me for these photos, and they did amazingly! It’s honestly so easy to photograph them together. Their chemistry really shows throughout the session.
