It was so good to travel back to my hometown of Fort McMurray, Alberta for Emmanuel and Therese Ire’s wedding. We had quite the opposite weather compared to their engagement session (which you can see here! Emmanuel and Therese Ire are Engaged!). Therese Ire got ready at The Pomeroy Hotel, which has such a beautiful foyer with some awesome window light, seating, and a super cool staircase. After some photos we headed to their ceremony at NorthLife Fellowship Baptist Church in Anzac. It was a beautifully sunny morning with some storm clouds off in the distance. After their ceremony and family photos, just as everything from the ceremony had been packed up the storm arrived. I’m so glad we had such beautiful weather during their ceremony! We headed to a roadside pull off called Windsurfers Beach on Gregoire Lake for some quick formals before the rain reached us. Then we drove into town to the Abasand lookout for some formals, and then to city hall where I had seen some lilacs still holding on. After formals we headed to their reception at Surekhas on the Snye. Can I just say, the mushroom ravioli was AMAZING. I had to pack some up and take it with me, I could not let any of it go to waste!
It was a gorgeous day, and I’m so excited for Therese Ire and Emmanuel and for them being married!
