Ok, well I just have to start off this post by saying I am OBSESSED with Tara and Kyle’s home. Like oh my goodness! I was secretly wanting to take photos of rooms in their home just to show my husband lol #homeinspo . I remember actually being in this home because my cousin had a friend who lived here when I was a kid. But the renovations that they have done to the place are just amazing. It looks SO good!
I remember saying “I can’t wait to see what they look like” when we did their maternity session at Lake Minnewanka (also, so happy with those photos!).
I was so excited to do this at home newborn session. These lifestyle kind of sessions are exactly what I love doing for family and newborns. Anything to do with time in the home, spending a day with the family just documenting, it’s so great. And so real! Those memories will last a lifetime.
Don’t get me wrong, the posed newborn on backdrops all swaddled up and cute are absolutely amazing, and I’ll probably pay for sessions of both styles of my own once I have kids, but I do not have the stamina for it! Spending hours in a hot room (so that baby is comfy not wearing a ton of clothing) working that magic is no easy feat, I applaud those who do it regularly.
