I’ve known Rachelle for many, many years. Like over 12 years! Probably more. So it was really such an honor to have photographed her intimate wedding in Canmore. Garrett and Rachelle were married in front of their close friends and family in Rundleview Park in Canmore Alberta. It was one of the hottest (if not the hottest) day of the year. I think my vehicle was registering between 36.5-37 Degrees Celsius by the time we started the ceremony. It was also pretty smoky due to the fires burning in BC this summer, but Rachelle and Garrett took these circumstances with stride. I was happy we could see the mountains, and that it wasn’t as bad as we had all originally thought it would be. After their ceremony and some family photos, we headed to the first formals location just south west of Canmore, then to Whitemans Pond, and then to the Engine Bridge. It was such a good day! I’m so excited for the future of Rachelle and Garrett, I wish them nothing but the best in their new life together.
