As I’ve mentioned before in their engagement session blog (which you can see here!), it’s crazy how small this world is sometimes. When I met Morgan for coffee to talk about their wedding, we were getting to know each other, talking about smaller towns and cities in Alberta and she casually mentions Fort McMurray. I told her that was my hometown, and asked if she had a brother. Well it turns out I went to the same high school as her and her siblings, (I’m one year younger than her brother, and we even had a class together!) and it was a super funny experience figuring out all the similarities. We were vibing well together, and you know when you just know that this is going to be such a good thing? I totally had that kind of moment.
I’m SO stoked that they chose me as their photographer, I honestly felt so comfortable around them and their family.
Both Douglas and Morgan looked amazing on their wedding day, and I am honored to have been a part of it! Although it wasn’t Morgan’s original wedding plans, the day worked out beautifully.

After some getting ready photos in Leduc, we headed to Pine and Pond to finish the getting ready photos and for their ceremony. After their ceremony I was super excited to take some photos in the boat on the pond. While I was taking pictures of them being super cute in the boat, I was also having a hard time containing my laughter and excitement. It was an adventure lol!

Then the clouds came in and we got some beautiful soft light for the rest of their formal photos. I love photographing at Pine and Pond, there’s so much variety, and they’ve worked hard to make it as amazing as it is. As you can see in the photos, it’s a gorgeous venue that I highly recommend!
