When Brianna contacted me about squeezing in some maternity photos before I headed off to New Zealand for the month of November in 2022, I was thrilled! It’s so cool to see families grow, and to capture the big milestone moments. I had photographed Brianna and Terry a couple years previously for their engagement session, which you can see here.

With the end of the Fall season fast approaching, we had the best timing with the leaves at the University of Alberta being in their full red glory on the Arts Convocation Hall Building. It’s one of my favorite spots in the end of fall to visit with how beautifully red the leaves change. Something not as common here in Alberta, with a lot of our trees being the amazing birch yellows in the fall. It’s always nice to have some variety and this location definitely offers that.
