One of the coolest things happened last week! We went on a trip to see Nicole Ashley!!! I’ve been a fan of her work for a while now, but I never knew she was in Edmonton! As soon as I found out where we were going (the day before) I was so giddy. I don’t usually get so excited about seeing someone who is accomplished in what they do, but it just sorta happened for me this time. I’m a fan of a lot of photographers, but it’s really cool to have one in the same city as you. Over our time as a class with Nicole, we learned about her personal project and then were asked to photograph someone else in the way she did for her project, so after taking a shot, I kinda just took behind the scenes shots of everyone doing their own thing, then I eventually got a shot of myself at the end.
